What is a good alternative to a pizza peel?

Well, I just ordered my pizza peel, but it's going to take a while for it to get here. Thing is, I wanna make a pizza on my pizza stone TOMORROW. So I was wondering if there's some sort of alternative I could find around the house to a pizza peel for transporting the pizza to and from the stone?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You can use a stiff piece of cardboard big enough to hold the dressed pizza with an inch or two to spare. I would use either cornmeal or flour as a release agent for your homemade "peel". You can also use the back of a cookie sheet if it is big enough to hold your pizza. It also should have some cornmeal or flour as a release agent. I would shake the dressed pizza a bit to be sure that it moves and won't stick to your "peel" when you are about to load the pizza onto your stone. If it sticks, you can try running a length of dental floss or strong string under the pizza.

To remove the baked pizza from the oven, I would use a pair of kitchen tongs to grab the pizza at the rim and pull it onto a large plate or back onto the piece of cardboard or cookie sheet. I would then put the pizza on a cooling rack to cool a bit before eating.

I'd suggest the cardboard over the back of the cookiesheet, slides off easier.
