In the 20's here in Durham too. We got 1 whole inch of snow so of course that means the stores are all sold out of bread and milk. These people will go into a panic if you even whisper the word snow....3 or 4 inches will shut the town down.  ;D

I remember back in '74 there was a sleet storm in Fort Lee, VA. They closed the Army base, no one could leave by car or on foot. Me and some WI and MN buddies and a few others were stopped as we were leaving the base with the big HALT, NO ONE LEAVES THE BASE, TOO DANGEROUS, from the guy on guard duty! I responded with, 'look the other way most of us are from MN and WI'. He didn't say a word, just turned around and we walked down to the bar watching the chaos at every intersection, wasn't pretty!!

Too effin' cold. The pineapples have all been moved into the Garage with a space heater which pretty much puts an end to pizza for the time being. The poor orange trees were completely coated in ice a couple days ago. The winter veggies in the garden are doing very well however.

Those pineapples seem to be giving you a workout this winter!! :-D Do you water the orange trees to ice 'jacket' them at nite or just roll with it?

Woke up to 15 inches of snow this morning, here in Salem, VA. Now getting more from the backside of this system. Can't go anywhere, so I might as well make some dough.

Here in the NE more snow today and right now it is snowing again.  I am so over all the snow this year.  To add to what happened today is I had my snow blower repaired last week and today it would not start.
