Hello, Soapstonedude here. I am from mid Michigan and have been making thin to medium crust pizzas for a couple years now after aquiring a soapstone pizza stone. Just came here to learn about making deep dish pizzas.

Welcome.  I'm sure you will find this forum informative.  Do a quick search on soapstone and you'll find many posts.  I had a circular soapstone cut a few years back and ran some tests, and many other members have used them with success.
