Baking two pizzas - together or individually?
« on: March 07, 2014, 11:20:36 AM »
I'm going to bake two Pizzarium pan pizzas tonight for a social gathering.  It's a friend's oven that's a bit weak, but I've baked a single pizza on it once without too much trouble.  So, should I put both pizzas in together or individually?

I'm thinking you may have some rotating and turning to do and one may get done before the other but what the hell, go for it.

Give it some warm up time and do both, that way they are ready together.

My cousin has one of those wider Wolf ovens.  It allowed me to cook both pizzas side by side.

I put the 16-inch pan on top and the 14-inch pretty much directly underneath.  The bottom pizza was quite done on the bottom while the top pizza's bottom was very pale.  The tops looked about the same.

I let the larger pie bake for several more minutes to get the underside closer to the other pizza.  The crowd really didn't care one way or the other.
