What do you think of this method with the Ferrari Napoli ?
« on: March 16, 2014, 10:04:19 PM »
Being a beginner with pizza making, I bought a Ferrari Napoli electric pizza oven and I already had rather good results with it, at least imho, following the instructions in the manual.
Doing a Google search I found this website however:
http://frequentlyarsed.wordpress.com/2012/10/28/first-test-g3-ferrari-pizza-cooker/
and the method described there is different from the instructions in the manual. He puts the rolled out dough on the hot stone, with the lid up,  and then adds the toppings.
I would like to know what you think of this. Is this a good method ?

Ton, some people pre bake their crust before adding toppings, but topping the dough before you bake it produces much better results- at least for the two most popular styles- NY and Neapolitan.
