I have always suspected these were produced in the Heinz-owned Escalon plant in California. This is (at least on the foodservice level) a line of fresh-packed products, whereas the regular Heinz foodservice products such as puree are probably reman. The tomato profile of these regular products is the same as Heinz ketchup.
I see a few online wholesalers offering Bell’Orto, but the proof comes when you place an order. Remember that Heinz no longer supplies Escalon-packed Classico to Wal-Mart.
