Any LaRosa sauce reverse engineered recipes?
« on: April 13, 2014, 01:16:39 AM »
Has anyone found or developed a recipe to simulate LaRosa pizza sauce? This is a chain in the Cincinnati area. The pizzas aren't the greatest, but I always loved the sauce.

If anyone can provide some help with this, I would greatly appreciate it.

I can't help right now because I haven't had LaRosa's in many years, except at Kings Island. So I've been wondering if the pizza at their stores is different or better than what they serve at Kings Island. Cuz the stuff at Kings Island is pretty nasty.

I've never been to Kings Island and haven't been to the stores in many years. I have the pizza every time I pass through that part of Ohio. I did break down and order the sauce online and I enjoyed it very much. I didn't say I like the pizza overall, just the sauce.

The problem is the price. For a 6lb. bag it was $30 plus shipping! That why I am asking for help.
