Newbie here, been reading and enjoying for about a week.
42, Harrisburg, PA.
Haven't done much yet with homemade pizza, but once I get into projects, I tend to go full tilt. Was reading Tony Bourdain's Kitchen Confidential, and the chapter on the gonzo breadmaker Adam Real-Last-Name-Unknown got me interested in starters, which led me to sourdo.com, the Italian cultures (which I ordered and am awaiting), the idea of making breads and pizzas at home (since our local pizza joints are nothing great), and finally to Jeff V.'s site and this site. Heck, I haven't made my first "real" pizza yet, and I'm having daydreams of perfecting it and opening a shop.
I need to breathe a bit. But this site is really great, lots of top notch input.
