Grew up in Ohio eating Massey's, Tommy's, Donatos pizza as well as many single owner pizzerias. I have moved several times and have never been able to find Ohio Style pizza anywhere else and I don't understand why it is not as famous as NY Style or Chicago Style. I want to be able to make Ohio style pizza at home. I have already had good success using various recipes in this forum and on related blogs and several persons love to have me make these pizzas for them. I hope to learn more about how individual ingredients impact the dough. For me the dough / crust is the most important followed my the pepperoni, then cheese, then sauce. I have not yet been able to get the thin crunchy lamination to the level I am looking at.
