I miss you guys
« on: April 08, 2004, 06:59:18 PM »
Well,

I miss you guys and the pizza chat,

darn, I wish this software had a way of sending ALL posts on ANY topic to our email program.

I am a all grain homebrew ( yes beer ) maker, and our group
website is located here:

http://barleyment.wort.ca/

We also have a forum, which send emails as soon as they are posted which is a real plus.  I never miss out on posts, and it's great.

I love this software on the forum, but until a reply to a thread I was watching is made I forget about the website, - I haven't been here for quite some time because it never crossed my mind :-(

Anyway I'm always around, this is a great place to talk pizza !
and beer :-)

Mark.

Mark, shame on you, just kidding. What I do is check the Ten Most Recent Posts, it's not the answer, but it works.

The people who developed this forum software are working on a new version. It's in beta testing right now, so it's not ready for prime time. I'm hoping that the new version will allow email notifications for all new messages on a particular board.

In the meantime, ya just gotta remember to stop by and check in!  ;)

Ok, I just put the new "Beta" forum software on the pitcooking site.

You can try it out at:

The new forum software does support RSS feeds.

It also allows you to click "Notify" on any board and any new topics/messages will generate email notifications.
