Scottish Neapolitan from an Effeuno P134H

Hello,

I have been a member of the forum for about a year now and haven't contributed much, however I have recently purchased an Electric Effeuno P134H oven from Italy and would like to share my learning curve as I go along.

Last night I baked 4 pies, the dough was prepared on Friday using Craig's pizza formula spreadsheet. I hand mixed it for 10 minutes let it rest for an hour then stretched and folded twice half an hour apart. I then balled them for 24 hours at room temp.

Very nice looking start with your oven. I am considering the P134H so will follow your thread closely for your thoughts on the oven. It looks like a nice bit of kit. Can I ask does it plug into a normal UK power outlet or does it need a heavier duty supply like a typical cooker.

Thank you all for the compliments!

Pies cooked in under 2 minutes with the temps set at 125 bottom element and 450 top.

Monty the oven comes with a European 2 pin plug attached so you only need to use a Euro to UK adaptor then its straight into the standard wall socket, or you could rewire it to a standard 3 pin plug.

I tried to upload a video of a bake that I recorded on my iPhone but message said I couldnt upload that type of file any ideas how to go about uploading?

yeah craig is a great source just stumbled across his calabrian chili oil :drool: but the tutto calabria chilis he recomands i cant find in germany :-(

Yeh,

I'm struggling to source it in the UK too need to figure out a decent substitute, or go with a chilli evoo from an Italian food supplier.

I live in Sweden but there is actually a english version of tutto calbria homepage from the uk.
Also i found some on amazon uk at some Point.
I tried to email uk tutto for fun but no reply  :'(

Nice! Can you confirm that your set up is a P134H out of the box. I've seen a lot of forum posts about users making various modification - mainly on http://laconfraternitadellapizza.forumfree.it/ forum. I'm considering one but don't want to go messing around. What settings did you use for the bottom and top heat, and what sort of warm up time did you need.

From the video I presume you are supporting Brasil ;D

Well, I've taken a step closer by asking for a quote. Can I ask you what you paid for the oven/shipping/vat. Most of the prices I have seen on this forum are from last summer. Thanks.

If it helps they are doing this oven for 286 plus vat and shipping in August. I'm tempted...
