Pellicola Pizzeria - Los Angeles
« on: June 29, 2014, 03:24:44 PM »
Went here the other night. Some guys and I from work went into LA and went to Wurstküche, then afterwards wanted to check somewhere else out. Pellicola was basically the only place open after midnight which wasn't 21 and over, because one guy from work is 20. Has anyone else been here? It's a pretty decent NY/Italian hyrbid pizza.

Looks like an interesting place.  Were you able to get any details about how the dough is made, bake temp and bake time?
Things have never been more like today than they are right now.

I didn't get much info at all. It was like 2 AM haha. They use bakers pride stacked ovens. I timed a pizza and it was 5 minutes. I wasn't paying a ton of attention, so it is possible I timed the wrong pie coming back out then was put in. But based on the texture, it seemed like 5 minutes was correct.
