A few years ago, while I was in Rome for about 1 month, I had the opportunity to try a plethora of Roman pizzas. The one thing that struck me-- and that I subsequently fell in love with-- were all of the different toppings available.
I have, since then, forgotten all the variety of toppings... and I'm dying to try to make those combinations again!
Would anyone be so kind as to give me some topping combinations?
I remember getting one that was mushrooms and cheese (WHAT CHEESE?!) with what I think was garlic infused oil instead of sauce. Who knows.
Also tuna and cherry tomatoes (served cold) with what I think was mayo?
