I would not have guessed they would have put whole leaves in a ready-to-use product.

I can't find Peter's post right now, but I think he posted somewhere here on the forum there are employees at Stanislaus that are hired just to pick fresh basil for some of their tomato products.Norma

Peter,That is a very good post by you. I am still searching for the post by you where you told of how employees picked the fresh basil by hand for some of the Stanislaus tomato products. I am probably using the wrong words in an advanced search.
