Anyone have any experience with these? Have always been wary of "gas ovens that cook just like wood. " Recently had some pizza @ Delphina Pizzeria in San Francisco and was very pleasantly surprised at the results with this oven. Any info would be appreciated.

GERRY,
From my reading at the PMQ Think Tank over the past year or two I have not read anything bad about any of the Marsal ovens. Most people seem very happy with them, including Tom Lehmann and Big Dave Ostrander, two well known pizza industry professionals. Here is a sampling of some PMQTT posts:

I have been considering getting one of these for my home. I called and they told me that although the MB8 (Vesuvio) is promoted as a pizza oven for a residential use, it is actually rated as a commercial oven. I haven't spoken to the local building department or insurance angecy, but I'm sure this will not be as easy or inexpensive as if it were rated for home use. The person I spoke to there said that they have been trying to get this oven rated for home use. Next week there is some kind of meeting when the decision will be made. He said he will call me and let me know what happens.

I don't know how much they cost. I haven't gotten that far yet.
By the way, I got a clarification that Marsal has some type of meeting this week to tell them what they need to change to have the oven approved for residential use.
