Very nice.

Looking at your photo I see what appears to be a pizza screen with either a coating or possibly a dark seasoning from use. Can you tell me which it is?

It is a screen that I seasoned myself. I over did it, but a pizza never sticked to it again.

I asked the question because there are some pizza screens that are coated with a non-stick coating that can break down at high oven temperatures. How exactly did you season your screen?

I used a vegetable spray that you can get in any food store. I sprayed it on one side and baked it , on the center rack, 400 degrees, for a little while just until it was about to smoke. Then I let it cool over night and repeated it on the other side. Pizzas were still sticking so I kept doing it, till they didn't stick any more. Then I started baking it on the stone at 500 degrees after I made a pizza after it cooled down. I would spray it again and bake it for a while and just set it on the hot stone and turn off the oven and let it set there overnight. I did it till I liked the dark color it is today. In short I baked the

out of it.
