NYC pizza in Silicon Valley

So I found this brand new pizza place in San Jose, that has 100% authentic NY style pizza. I don't think the last pizza I had just off of Times Square was this good.  It's called Slice of NY and its at 443 Stevens Creek Blvd., San Jose, CA.  I've tried pizza from other places out here like Amicis (who claims to be NY style), and they were nothing close compared to this wonderful pizza.  If you stop by, tell them Mike from NJ sent ya!  The pizzaiolo I was talking with is from South Philly, and used to hang out at all the places I knew years back.  They are a great bunch, go enjoy next time you're in the area! :-)

I used to live near there.  Don't remember that place.  Is it new?

Check out my other posts here somewhere for other pizza joints near you.  For example, Frankie Johnny and Luigi's is killer.  I know of 4-5 othe places within a few hours drive to you that are awesome (my other posts say where).

Official name: A Slice of New York (believe it or not, Slice of New York is in southern CA as I found out later!!!)

Just wanted to let you all know that A slice of NY aint messin around.
I made my way down there not expecting something unique and memorable,
I mean come on pizza is pizza right?

Well the pizza was awesome, I recommend the sausage slice. I was
taking food for 3 so I ordered a calzone and a Stromboli as well. Let
me tell you the folks I brought it to were stoked on both the
stromboli and calzone but the calzone was "off the hook" to quote a
guy that came in while I was there. He was just one of the many people
that came in while I was there.
That place sure does have charm.

So if your ever in San Jose or within a 100 mile radius, its worth a visit.

Thank God I dont live closer or I'd be even fatter than I am now.
