First time poster here and wanted to share my favorite pizza place. The place is Pica's in Upper Darby, PA (just outside Philly). Pica's is no ordinary pizza. Pica's is square pizza (not sicilian) that is maybe 1/4" think crust. The crust is between crispy and soft, more New York style than Cracker style. Pica's then places the cheese and toppings on top of the crust and then the sauce on top of the cheese and toppings. Instead of shredded cheese, they used slices of Mozzarella. The sauce is sweet, with a what appears to be a hint of wine in the sauce. In my opinion, this is the best pizza.
If you're even in the Philly area, its worth the trip. If anyone has ever had it and come close to replicating this taste at home, please let me know!
