I only caught pieces of it when I was in the kitchen making egg cheese, but there were 2 things that stood out that I want ask about.
First off, I remember seeing the crust on the deep dishese was VERY golden yellow BEFORE it was cooked. As they were fitting it into the pan you could see its very rich yellow color. The color looked quite appealing. Does anyone know how to get that color? Is it froma high amount of butter? I remember them saying something about a "buttery" crust and wonder if maybe that's it. Any tips?
Second, did you see the pizza pot pie? It looked very interesting to say the least. I didn't catch exactly how it was made, but I saw them serving it to people. It looked like they put the toppings in a bowl somewhat backwards, and then folded a crust over the bowl and bake dit. When they served it, they durn it upside-down and remove the bowl. The product looks quite similair to an ordinairy button mushroom and looks like a fun idea for my next pizza project. Has anyone done this? Any tips?
