Has anyone ever let a packaged dough mix rise over night in the fridge.

Do you mean like the Chef Boyardee mix? Or like the jiffy brand?  Adam

Like Chef Boyardee.

I did. You have to add yeast, there's none in the mix. It only has chemical leaveners.

The combo of long rise plus quick chemical rise in the oven was interesting. Large rim rise, thicker base than I expected, but missing the cruch I'm used to with my usual doughs.

Read the referenced thread for more.

I checked my dough package. It is actually  a different brand. I checked the ingredients and it has yeast. Should I try the over night rise in the fridge? Thanks.
