This pie cooked in 57 seconds in a wood brick oven. Very light but far from my favorite pie. Worth more experimenting though. But now it's freakin freezing out there and I'm not standing by that oven until it warms up again...

It was much less crispy. I'm not sure I really like that. but it had other problems that clearly needed work, so I won't judge it yet.

C'mon Jeff, it's only 57 seconds . . . . .    <kidding>

I remember having to run the barbeque grill in Maine for 30 minutes just to be able to melt enough snow and ice to open it, but now I live in Seattle where I can grill all year quite easily.  Sorry!

You can run that oven outside any time you want with no worries of being frozen to it.

Of course, in the summer, all you need to do is put the pie on the concrete and it'll cook all by itself.
