Beer.

A crisp witbier for a napolitano pie.

A rigorous IPA for pepperoni.

A dark porter for Chicago style.

Wow. For me that's a loaded question. My first place of employment (outside my family's business) was a pizza restaurant I've mentioned on this forum before. The owners were Italian and the food was the best within 100 miles. So for me, their advice on Italian food and beverages always struck me as authentic as any advice I've received since. Greg (the owner) said once in a casual lunch with family and employees that the only beverage you're supposed to drink with pizza is beer. I don't drink alcoholic beer, but I enjoy root beer and ginger beer immensely, so I took artistic license with his proclamation and for over two decades now have consumed nothing but root beer or ginger beer with every pizza ever eaten.

Pepsi. I'm not a big beer fan and I guess I'm strange, but I don't think beer goes too well with pizza. A glass of wine is just fine, but I still prefer good ol' soda.

For me, it's almost always wine. It doesn't matter what it is so long as it is red and of high quality.

Nothing like a good Neapolitan pie with fresh basil and a glass of Stags Leap Cabernet. Anitori Chianti ain't bad with pizza either.

For me, pizza was always something for my mouth to do while it wasn't drinking beer.

Now that my pizzas are so good (thank you, pizzamaking.com...) it's the other way around.

But to be specific, Harpoon IPA.

Gragnano is the traditional neapolitan pizza wine...(it's got bubbles). So that is good, or a nice Menabrea, Morretti, or Menabrea amber is good...That sour wild fermentation beer is good to. Panil, I think. Nora=pleasant with pizza.

I'm exactly the same way. I'm not a huge beer drinker anyway, but when I'm eating food, beer doesn't do it for me at all. With pizza, I usually like either coke/pepsi or a can of ginger ale (Canada Dry, of course)

Cold water with a slice of lemon.

If things go wild; a pepsi, some local beer or perhaps red wine (preferably merlot grapes).

Well, I think beer and pizza go hand in hand. But I usually drink pepsi or coke with my pizza. You gotta have a burp when (or after) you eat it ...ya know?

These days I mostly drink Coke with pizza; occasionally beer or red wine. However, growing up in New Jersey in the 1950's, the drink of choice was the birch beer the bars (that's where the pizza was) had on tap. Smooth and "creamy", if I could get birch beer like that now, that's what I'd still be drinking.

I usually drink water or tea with pizza. I used to drink Coke (by usual beverage of choice), however I would I would rather fill up on pizza than Coke.
