Hands down it's warm goats milk. If the establishment doesn't have an adequate supply, then of course, BEER!
At home, I make sure there is never ANY goats milk in the house.

Gotta be a bottle of pepsi. Reminds me of Friday nights at home in the mid 70's. Parents would bring home 2 pies, and we would watch Star Trek on TV and "eat in". Now every time I eat a pizza, I crave Pepsi, and I can't stand the stuff at any other time. Funny how our memories are so integral to us, no matter how old we get. One of the few fond memories of my childhood actually.

Oh well, time to cheer myself up by buying a scale.

I love beer,and drink plenty of it, but it has to be COKE with a pizza. Something about that great carbonation and taste, that cleans the pallet for the next slice. Even in the monring, takeing out a slice of cold pizza, and a 40 degree coke....nothing better.

it's pretty much always red wine for me, especially with Neapolitan-style pizza. fruit-forward simple reds. with cracker-style or bar pies, i go with a beer. Or four.

I'm gonna go against the grain here and say water is my favorite beverage, not only with pizza but for any food. Water is the perfect thirst quencher, and it doesn't step on the flavor of the pizza. Even though I'm Italian I can't stand drinking wine with pizza. Worst beverages are the sugary ones like Pepsi, Dr. Pepper, or Mountain Dew. I'd rather drink nothing than them. I love orange juice and grapefruit juice and beer, but not with pizza.

Beer, preferably a brew from St. Arnold's brewery here in Houston, TX. I think their IPA goes great with pizza, as does their Amber Ale and Summer Pils. The Texas Wheat beer is good, too. So is the Lawn Mower beer (St. Arnold's version of a light beer). Of course the Brown Ale is great with a Spinach Pesto Pizza I make. Ever have a pizza with Canadian Bacon and comfit of onions with a really good chewy, yeasty crust? Oh, man, the Stout was made for it, all of those deep flavors.

I love beer and coke but as others have said, I'd rather fill up on pizza than coke. It's much better for you, anyway. The amount of pure junk in soda is crazy. Something around 9 (?) teaspoons of HFCS. I used to drink at LEAST one coke per day, now not even one a month.

Last beer I had was an Ayinger Brau Weisse - pretty good stuff! I used to drink Yuengling, but have basically given up on the stuff completely. New deal is drink less, but of better quality.

So, water it is.

For me, my favorite is San Pellegrino mineral water. I always drink it with Italian food of any kind. It must be in a glass bottle though. The stuff in the plastic tastes completely different. But if I don't have San Pellegrino on hand, then with pizza, my second choice is definitely a good A&W Root Beer.

For you Coke drinkers, right now is a magical time. If you can find it, Kosher for Passover Coke is available. It's made with real sugar instead of HFCS. It *really* makes a difference in the taste.

Unfortunately it's not available in every market. Fortunately I can get it at the local Wegmans.

This applies only to US Coke drinkers. In the rest of the world Coke is always still made with sugar, as it should be.

Do a Google News search for "kosher coke", you'll see it's become rather a cult phenomenon. Here's a typical article (although unusual in that the Coke spokeswoman admitted there's a flavor difference; usually they deny it):

When I was living in Oakville, my drink of choice with pizza was a Jamaican ginger beer. I can't remember the brand but it came in a green stubby neck bottle, like a type of beer bottle. It definitely lived up to the "ginger" part of its name. It had a super kick, a bit of sweetness, and a lot of carbonation. It's not something I had all the time but it was great with the franchise chain pizza that I had access to across the street from my school's campus.
