Escalon packs some product for Trader Joes
« on: December 08, 2006, 03:05:58 PM »
Just got off the phone correcting a billing order from Escalon's web site, and I inquired about more product in 28 oz. cans. She said they've actually reduced what is offered, due to 98% of their business being in foodservice.

However, I was told by the Customer Service rep. that Escalon packs three products for Trader Joe's:
Marinara sauce (in cans);
Trader Giotto's Marinara;
and a starter sauce, she couldn't recall the name fully at the moment.

It was a bit rushed, so I've missed writing down a few things, I think the starter sauce might be in glass.

Thanks for posting the info Al.  :D

A while back someone posted that TJ had some Escalon products but we didn't know exactly which products they were.

Now we have a better idea.

I was in TJ's last night and every TJ tomato product I looked at had citric acid in it.
