I've been seeing ads in the baking catalogs lately for a special mold for making Monkey Bread which is little balls of dough rolled in butter, coated with cinnamon sugar, and baked in the mold. I have an old Charlotte mold that I haven't used in over 20 years; I also had some leftover dough from today's lunch, so ....
I used 2 balls of 300g each. For this size mold, I would use 4 balls (or a smaller mold). Also, next time I'll use less sugar. This dough is very soft and doesn't hold it's shape too well, but the balls did rise well and were light and airy on the inside. It reminded me of a cinnamon bun.
