Hey guys/gals.  I tried out this new pizza place (to me at least) Pizza Doro in Jenison Michigan.  It is F'n awesome.  They do have a flaw and that is that they put sugar in their dough  >:( 

Other than that I learned a couple things from them tonight. 

If any of you are ever in Grand Rapids Michigan let me know and we'll meet up...

I'm from the Grand Rapids area (Jenison specifically) and I'm on a quest to find the best pizza shop in town. It might take a while because I'm also trying out different pizza recipes at home. There is only so many pizza meals I'm allowed  >:D

I visited Pizza D'oro on Wilson near 28th St. in Grandville. The toppings were generous in quantity. The cheese, sauce, and crust were almost flavorless to my pallet.  :( I'm sorry to say that because the (new) owners really seemed really nice and I hope they do well.

Maybe I'm just spoiled by the fantastic pizzas I can make at home using the recipes from this site.
