No Pizza to Read About
«

Friday night and I was attempting to get my last fix of pizza reading on the forum before I leave for vacation. Alas there is no new posts
Well off to the cabin tommorow, where the diet changes from stombolis, pizzas and pasta, to fish, chicken, and burgers. No TV, no radio only silence.
Taking PR's American Pie with me to read, along with a few others.
And of course a couple of my frozen foccacia doughs. (can't leave home without 'em)

Not cooking too many pizzas this time of year... with 90+ degree temps outside and the AC working overtime, heating up my oven (and kitchen) for several hours is something I try not to do very often!
I'm sure things will pick up when Summer draws to a close.

I am with you, 100 PLUS heat indexes are not conducive to turning on a oven to 500 degrees.
However, I do have sourdough mother in the fridge to use this week. I have a bunch of it too cause I didnt pitch half of it like PeterR says to do. Fman, you might find this comical when you get back from reading it!!HA
Will post results, I too just got back into town late last nite from the Big Easy

Talk about hot it hit 100 at the cabin I was at and I had no AC. 96 degrees the next day. Lucky I was on the Lake. Much nicer now though as I got home only 80's, cool enough to make some pizza at night.

we had 35° C (95°F) on wednesday last week. At least there was a small breeze. Everynight we had the greatest thunderstorms rolling over the mountain passes here. They were quite spectacular to watch.
