Best Pizza in Boston and Metro west
« on: March 08, 2007, 08:52:51 PM »
How about a list for the best Pizza in this area?  Greek pizza need not apply.  Criteria must be constantly good and slices must be good as well.  Feel free to chime in with your favorites.

1. Maria Di Napoli, Nonantum

It just doesn't get any better than Pizza in Positano.

Pizzeria Regina (north end only)
Santarpios (east Boston)
Pizzeria Picco (south end)
Both New York Pizza's (mass ave south end/ or Tremont st theater district)
Sal's pizza (northern mass/southern NH)
Little Steevies (back bay)  but you must order a fresh pie.  They love to give out 10 hour old pizza.
Bar 10  (coply sq)  thin and crispy better than emmas in my opinion
Bertucci's, but only the few that still have a wood burning oven (beware of the fakes with gas fired wood ovens or any outside Massachucetts)
Upper Crust (beacon hill, newbury st, Coolidge corner)
Jaybo pizza (theater district)

Here's an old thread with more detail

I'm going to have to get out more to try some of these, Scott.  Where's Sal's?  And have you ever tried Ponte Vecchio in Danvers?
