Wood burning pizza oven recommendation
« on: March 20, 2007, 08:51:43 AM »
Hi All,

I'm looking for a recommendation on a good pizza oven (wood burning only) to install for an employer. Money is not really an issue, but I have to have it in place by late July. I'm looking for something at least 40" interior diameter so I can cook three or four pizzas in there or roast several chickens. It will be installed outdoors and for the time being there's no slab laid or existing patio. The location is Dutchess County, NY. Here are my potential scenarios:

1. some kind of "mobile oven" that I can rent for the summer until a permanent situation is decided on.
2.  a kit oven that I can hire someone to install on site.
3. hire an experience oven builder to install an oven to spec.

Any one have an ideas, comments, recommendations? Know people in the lower NY state region? Thanks in advance.

PG.

Talk to James.  It's what he does.  All kinds, All flavors.

Good luck.
