In my never ending search for simplicity, I am looking for 1 ingredient, and 1 ingredient only as a topping

Thankfully cheese isn't considered a topping up here in Canada, when you order
a "plain" around here, that means, just cheese and no toppings. ( yuck )

so, with that said....... green pepper.... can't live without green pepper on a pizza.

I'd take that over anything else.

I guess for me it would be pepperoni, which I have used as a benchmark for most of my "experiments". But I like just about anything, including anchovies.
