Hi guys.. I am not much of Handy guy but had an idea about turning an old oven how ever **** DOING THIS OUTSIDE THE HOUSE*****
People throw away Old Ovens taking one and some how wiring it up to a gas so it can work and on the bottom rack take a roasting pans and lighting some coals with in the oven on next rack up keep the pizza stone and having the broiler working at the same time above..
I wonder if you can get the tempretures up to 800 Plus the added flavour of coal as they do in the NYC areas some places...
i'd like some feedback if anything think it can work theoratically!

When you say "coal" do you mean:
1) hardwood burned in the absence of oxygen (a.k.a. charcoal, lump, etc.)
or
2) combustible fossil fuel rock
?

First thing I would find out is if the Porcelain enamel can withstand those high temps and would it give off any noxious gasses that would harm you like galvanized metal can? Second the sheet steel is pretty thin in an electric oven and i would think that it would get distorted and out of shape in a short amount of time at those high temps.
Edit: Fixing bad grammer.
