Sourdough starter originally from Marco?

My friend bought some sourdough starter from a mail order company and it came with a little booklet that talked about how to activate and use it etc. In the book it mentions a guy from Italy who was living in London who supplied the author with the original Italian starter that he used. The guy's name is Marco. Is that the same Marco who posts here?

Yes, but depending on the versions of the booklet, the information about me in the original booklet are quite misleading...  Also I had nothing to do with the Pizza recipe that was in the booklet and not sure in what has been included now.

Thanks. The version he has is February 15th, 2006. It's the "Italian Sourdough Cultures Instructions" one.

I think that's the correct version.  But I had contacted Ed about it a while back and he didn't seem to know what I was talking about, so who knows.
