Here is the recipe I have been using to make my own:
| 1 lb. lean ground turkey | 1 1/2 t. sugar |
| 2 t. garlic powder | 1 t. salt |
| 1 1/2 t. fennel seed, crushed | 1 t. dried oregano |
| 1/2 t. pepper |
Combine all ingredients in bowl. Be sure to mix well.
Cover and refrigerate for at least 8 hrs. (overnight is best)
Shape into patties or crumble to cook.
This is a very good recipe. I haven't had anyone able to tell it wasn't pork sausage.
