Dishes that are safe for a wood-fired oven?

Hi.  I am wondering if anyone uses terra cotta, cast-iron, or Pyrex in their wood-fired ovens?  Do you know of anything that can withstand going straight from fridge to oven at pizza temps?

Brady:

I use a cast iron skillets to precook sausage and chicken.  Beautiful!

I've never used terra cotta mostly because I don't have any.  James, over at Forno Bravo just started selling such items which are suited for wood ovens.

Be warned!  You will need extra thick insulated gloves to handle hot iron.  Even with an "Ove Glove" inside a regular oven glove I learned firsthand what "Drop it like it's hot" means.
