Cone Pizza

Japan has a tendency to localize products from abroad and pizza is no exception.  Recently there is a cone pizza store that is beginning to get popular http://www.tribecca.co.jp/ .  I've never seen a cone pizza back home (I'm sure someone has done it) but take a look at the link.

Kind of like half calzones or something.

It looks like they're making their own version of an open-ended pizza Hot Pocket.

Thanks for the reply.

That sheds a lot of light on this in Japan.  I thought this was an original Japanese concept but I should have known better!  Pretty interesting idea but I wouldn't bet my money on it here in Japan.  The Japanese are incredibly finicky and as the population gets older, your chances of being successful in this kind of business are slim.  I can imagine this being popular at amusements parks, festivals and etc.
