Oiled dough on Fibrament stone???

My Fibrament stone is used for bread baking.  Is it not a good idea to bake a pizza dough on that stone where the dough was setting in bowl rubbed with olive oil?

I think it's a great idea to use that stone for pizza. I have one and it delivered good results, so heat that puppy up and bake.

What concerns me is the stone's ability to absorb some of the oil and later on emit unpleasant odors.

I’m with Mike.  I don’t think it will hurt to use your  Fibrament stone to bake pizza.  I have had many mishaps, in my deck oven and with my home pizza stone, and cheese was over the deck and pizza stone and there never seemed to be problems with the oil released from the cheese, when another pizza was made.  It might smoke a little, but soon should stop.

I would think that any 'oily' spillover onto the stone would necessitate high heating for an extended period of time in order to evaporate the residual oils or fats - in order to avoid rancid odors.
