Starter Washing

So, I received my camaldoli and am contaminated. I have washed twice and still get hooch at the bottom of the jar about 2 hours after the washing. I am not really clear on how often I should be washing. Do I wait 4 hours from the last washing, or do I wash as soon as the hooch sinks to the bottom?

I sent an email to ED at sourdo.com regarding this question.

His answer was to wash every 12 hours. This was good as I was washing ever 4 and burning through my bottled water and KASL which is not cheap
to come by.

This is like having a newborn child again, change the diaper and feed them on a constant schedule. I cannot wait until they grow and I can
put em to work..
