National Pizza Month is October. I think I will bake a differanr pizza everyweek starting this week with a Chicago.

I think I am going to have Chicago style pizza the first week, then crossed the second week, New York style the third week and for the fourth week may be something new like a variation of Pizza Hut thick crust.

You have lit a fire under me to do a pie every week too.
Havent done a Chicago in a while, might start there.
Starting to get a little more towards the side of normal here.

First week; Chicago style pizza.
Second week; the Dough Doctor's Chicago thin crust.
Third week; my American style pizza.
Fourth week; my thin crust.

I keep thinking for the fourth week a Sicilian pizza but I have no basis for even starting a Sicilian pizza. That is one pizza that we rarely ever talk about all this form. I also have thought about making out da Vinci's made by the shadow so long ago in Birmingham Alabama. The only distinguishing characteristic that I can remember is that each slice weighed about a pound or it seemed that way and it had a crust similar but not like the Pizza Hut deep dish.

A Pizza Month? Nice, but around here, every month is pizza month! I believe Chicagoans eat the most pizza per person in the US.

I haven't been cooking my own pizzas lately, too much work and other things so I have to rely on good old restaurants.

So far this month... let's see... tonight I am going to have a deep-dish Lou Malnati's pizza.

Last night I had guests and we ordered really thin pizzas from Il Forno in Deerfield, IL (great pizza, peppery sauce). Earlier this week I had a monster 16" New York style pizza from a local favorite called Garibaldi's which has 4 or 5 locations. That's a nice week.
