Cheap IR Therometers

has anyone tried this IR therometer?

its really cheap and goes over 970F

I just bought one last week for 29.99 in the store.  works great for me.

...Sounds like my ex-wife.  Doesn't mean it's accurate.

Owuuuu...  I guess you got me thar, pard!

I have one of those inaccurate like models.  At regular oven temps, they were OK.  As the WFO got up to temperature, there was a huge (200F) difference between that crappy model and my Raytek Raynger MX4. 

So ..yeah... JUST like my Ex    ...LIAR!

but this HF seams to be pretty close, but i'm going to take it to work & compare with the one we have there.
