Tribute to "Open Source Pizza"
« on: December 15, 2007, 09:29:33 PM »
As a tribute to Pizzamaking.com
or you could call it "Open source Pizza"

I am donating the proceeds of this auction
for a 13-5/8" 2stone Pizza Grill cordierite special version www.2stonepg.com
listed on Ebay here:  http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=250198295507

There is no minimum and bidding starts at $0.01 (one cent)
All proceeds excluding shipping and handling charges will go to
pizzamaking.com

It is that time of the year, and I would personally like to thank Steve,
the "tireless moderators", heavy hitters and every one who contributes and
continue to make this a great resource for "aspiring pizza makers"

Happy Holidays and
happy bidding.

regards,
willard

Willard,

You are very generous!

If I win this item can it be adapted or upgraded to a Bayou Burner version?
I love my  2Stone Bayou oven. The larger oven would just make baking a bit easier. Trying to center a 12" pie on the 12" stone is always exciting.

If I win I'll auction off my original 2Stone.

Michael,

I'm sorry I'm not sure I understand your question.
the 2stone up for auction is the same size as the
one you have now.

willard

just a thought you could always auction yours on this thread
and donate a small % from the sale and it would be in the spirit
of " a tribute to open source pizza"

Willard,

I got so excited about the new larger model that I just assumed that it was the one being auctioned.

For now I'm very happy with what I've got. Made some plain skins last night to have with spaghetti and clam sauce. Yum!

There is less than 5 hours left till the auction closes.

The bidding  is at slightly over 1/2 price now, so there is still time
to get inn on a good deal along with helping to support
pizzamaking.com (and making Steve happy  ;) :) :D ;D :-D)

regards,
willard

Michael,

Hope the skins turned out good!

You know the old saying "every once in a while even an old blind dog finds a bone" - I got a super deal !!!

I really wanted to thank you for doing this for our site - (the contribution of the proceeds of the sale less shipping).

I and many others on the site most certainly appreciate your generosity, plus I'll enjoy the 2Stone.

Regards,

Richard
