How does Red Pack crushed tomatoes compare to 6/1 crushed tomatoes ?
I currently use 6/1 for my sauce base but can also get Red Pack for less cost at my local Gordon Food Service. The Red Pack has salt and citric acid in the ingredient list and 6/1 doesn't have the citric acid and is sweet to taste right out of the can. I've never tried the Red Pack and was interested in comments from those of you who have used it.
