PizzaBurger I made plus recipie
« on: January 22, 2008, 07:32:22 PM »
Here is a pizza burger and how I did it.
 :chef:
Bun
1/4 Pound hamburger patty
Pizza sauce
Mozzarella cheese
Olilve oil
Salt/Pepper
Crushed red pepper
Oregino
Garlic powder
Parsley
Basil
Or spice to taste

In a small pan grill bun remove and set aside.
Add enough olive oil to coat pan.
Add burger and season. (Watch for Flames)
Grill both sides
Add pizza sauce and mozzarella cheese.
Cover to let cheese melt.
Remove patty, put on bun and enjoy.

Tips: Let the cheese fall on the pan and burn.
Will add a nice crunch and flavor to the burger.
Let flames burn burger while cooking. (Pleae be careful doing this)
Condiment to taste. (You reall dont need them)
You may also try your favorite pizza toppings on top.

When you have kids, you sometimes need really quick meals.

I do something along the same lines, but different.

I take a hamburger bun, open it up, and it goes on a cookie tray.
Put pizza sauce on both buns.
Grate Mozz cheese right onto the sauced buns.
Add a bit of cubed up ham or pepperoni

and into the oven, until the cheese melts and gets slightly brown.

My mother used to this same thing with plain old white bread when I was a kid
when she didn't want to make pizza from scratch.

Kids just love it either on bread or the hamburger bun.

Pizzamaker, Rib Smoker, HomeBrewer, there's not enough time for a real job.

Toast some English muffins instead of the hamburger buns sometime, pretty darn good.  :) I also prefer the English muffins to buns for burgers, toasted of course.  ;D
Making great pizza and learning new things everyday.

Yup, Trin agree! :pizza:
It's an Earth food. They are called Swedish meatballs. It's a strange thing, but every sentient race has its own version of these Swedish meatballs! I suspect it's one of those great universal mysteries which will either never be explained, or which would drive you mad if you ever learned the truth.
