Da Michele is a purist's pizzeria. It makes two varieties: marinara with tomato sauce and mozzarella, and margherita, which adds fresh basil on top.
Hmmmm.... I've never been to da Michele, but everything I've read says that there's no mozzarella on the marinara, which is what truly sets it apart from the margherita, not just the addition of basil. I'll read the rest with a grain of sea salt.
