I personally love goat cheese on pizza (especially with artichoke hearts, onion, and tomatoes). However, I've never seen anyone else do this. Am I alone on this one?

We love the goat cheese on pizza. Second to Buffalo Mozz.

No you're not alone.I've seen it used many times before.My favorite Sicillian / focaccia is made with olives / feta / oven dried toms / red onions /anchovie combinations.

I use some crumbled goat cheese as part of the blend on my white pie. It adds some tang!

Goat cheese is great!

Just made my first pizza with goat cheese the other day.....goat cheese, arugula, pine nuts and a tiny bit of lemon squeezed onto the pizza just after cooking. Pretty good!

our favorite topping cheese used to be FETA... but now, goat cheese has totally taken over. Especially with carmelized onions. mmmmmmmm

Try some fresh Mozzarella with goat cheese, chopped oil cure black olives, & marinated artichoke hearts. Thats a nice pie!

You are right.

The best FETA is made from Goat's milk...but most of the American products are Cow's milk.

I lived in Spain for a few years and there was Naples-style pizzeria (brick oven) just down the road from my house that did some exotic pizzas. My wife and I would go about once a week and her favorite pizza (to this day) was topped with honey and goat's cheese and while I wasn't a huge fan, I have to admit that it was pretty good. (My favorite was "Pizza Alsaciana" - topped with heavy cream, onions, and parma ham - sounds gross but was fantastic!)

Anyway, I have been using goat's cheese to top pizza for years now! Try it with the honey and see what you think.

I am trying to add to the site at all times... and not just adding the cheap pizza peels.. but the hard-to-find good stuff that I would use.

My daughter Natalia (and my wife and I) appreciate everyone's support.

BTW... were the sun dried toms in packed in oil? or were they dried and then you reconstituted them??

Sundried Packed in oil, and Yes you have some quality stuff there. I need a brush the broom/scraper type does not quite get it done
and I like your olive oil cruet? canister Want not need

but hey its the whole package. Your price are better than forno to boot The 8 " peel is the most important tool I own so I may go for your forna kit.

Almost a year later (from reply12 above) heres my Pesto Goat Cheese and Sundried again
Now its homemade Pesto and a much nicer dough. YUM
