The Royal Chessmen in Wilmette
« on: April 01, 2008, 03:59:30 AM »
Does anyone out there remember the Royal Chessmen in Wilmette?  I grew up with this pizza and it holds so many memories for me.  They closed their doors sometime around 1990, I believe.  I have eaten all the great pizza around Chicago but, nothing will ever replace this pizza.  Does anyone know who owned it?  Did anybody ever work there?  Do you have any memories of this incredible pizza?

Well, looks like I have struck out on this forum as nobody seems to have heard of the place.  So I have started a blog to help me reach a greater number of people and hopefully find someone who remembers.

You can view the blog at royalchessman.blogspot.com
