I think he needs to keep searching for perfection! I LOL when his dough balls were stuck together after he made sure to tell everyone to leave space so they won't stick. Too lazy to make another batch and film it correctly.
As for the cast iron pan, I have used that in the past as a top stone to reflect heat down on top of the pizza and it does a great job.
For the most part many pizza makers on pizzamaking.com can most likely blow his pizza away, I know mine sure comes out looking a lot better than his.
