How well do you know your fellow forum members?
« on: May 09, 2008, 10:49:17 PM »
After looking at several pictures of various members pies, it's interesting
how you can almost detect whose pie it is. There are definite trademarks
that you can spot after you have seen a few of them. So just for the
sheer fun of it I have made up a sampling of 20 pies. It was completely
random from around the forum so if yours isn't there, I didn't get that far.

See if you can match them up without cheating. (researching all the threads)
Here is a list of the Artisan Pie Makers whose pies are featured (out of order of coarse!)
One member has two pies listed.

FVG, Varasano, Villa Roma, cd1168, PFTaylor, Pete-zza, Widespreadpizza, mbusse, sourdoughgirl,
2stone, abatardi, pizzacraver, MWTC, Pizzanapoletana, mmarston, Scottsmith. csacks, BillSFNM, jimd

I will post the answers  later on

I haven't been here long enough to be too familiar with the members shots, but I remember a thread where Pete-zza put his take of a Dominoes pizza in a box... so #8-Pete-zza, and #4 -sourdoughgirl. I think you, 2stone might be #10 .

Should have had one of my frozen pies in there... :-D
It's an Earth food. They are called Swedish meatballs. It's a strange thing, but every sentient race has its own version of these Swedish meatballs! I suspect it's one of those great universal mysteries which will either never be explained, or which would drive you mad if you ever learned the truth.

These are the ones of which I am reasonably certain:

2 - Villa Roma
6 - sourdoughgirl
8 - Note to zalicious: the box is a Papa John's box
9 - Bill/SFNM
14 - MWTC

Here are my remaining guesses:

1 - pftaylor
3 - widespreadpizza
10 - willard
17- Marco
19 - Varasano

Willard,

Now that you've created a pizza photography critique I'll have to provide something better than a mug shot of one of my first slightly burned 2Stone pies.

I would love to taste some of those pies. I'm curious what others think is good pizza.

I say my pizza is good, but every mother thinks their kid is better looking then the other mothers kids. if ya know what I'm saying.
