French Bread Pizza
« on: May 10, 2008, 06:43:37 AM »
I made some french bread pizza the other day. And since I can't remember anyone posting it here before I thought I would share some pictures. :)

I got a nice fresh loaf of french bread. Sliced and buttered, added Contadina four cheese pizza sauce. Sliced provalone cheese, and mushrooms and Hormel peppy's. ;)

 10-15 minutes at 350F. :chef:

It's an Earth food. They are called Swedish meatballs. It's a strange thing, but every sentient race has its own version of these Swedish meatballs! I suspect it's one of those great universal mysteries which will either never be explained, or which would drive you mad if you ever learned the truth.

Trinity,

Nice work there,

Sorry I missed you on the round-up.
Yes I believe you have taken frozen pizza
to the next level. I saw them before...but alas,
my memory failed me on my treasure hunt last night.
It's nice to know I'm not the only deviant around here!

These pizza dough balls never made it into pizzas, they were
obviously destined for something else. (they may fit inn here)

2stone, can I make those rolls in my basic oven ?  Recipe? They look fantastic.

Trinty, going to try the french bread idea. The family will really go for them.

Good stuff.

Apizza,

I think you could if you have a stone in the oven. I will be posting that recipe etc.
on my website. When I do I can either post a copy or a link for you here.

regards,

Thanks Willard. I do use a modified oven that I can get to about 800 F with a stone, so that may help.
