Here's an interesting set of pictures showing a home oven build. Pretty much covers every step. Best way to test an oven is with pizza.  :pizza:

Aarrugh! Another oven without insulation under the floor.

Where do people get these ideas? They put vermiculite concrete over the dome! How hard is a layer underneath?

I'm so glad. It's a good looking build, but it sure looked like a concrete slab under the cooking floor.
