a pizza club

I ran across a post in newbies I believe where the poster said he was a member of a pizza club. Intriging concept I thought. So how does one go about starting a pizza club?¿

I assume it's the same as some couple having a dinner club only with pizza. I know a few people who get together with 4-5 other couples and have everyone over once a month for dinner, taking turns being the 'host' couple, some having a maximum/minumum budget for the dinner so everyone spends around the same. My thoughts anyway.
